How to work the transmission on the 1990 seadoo gtx waverunner? And what is the top speed of it?

when i start my seadoo it drives foward the transmission is pionting at the n. but once i get out on the lake the top olny gets up to 30. is there a way i could shift into forward and go faster? Or maybe the jet pump is blocked or something and it cannot get to its top speed?|||there is no true neutral on your old Sea-Doo, no transmission either. Reverse is obtained by a "bucket" dropping down in front of the steering nozzle, forcing the thrust under the boat, thus resulting in rearward movement. If the bucket comes up to fully expose the nozzle when in fore ward, I would look into the wear ring around the impeller, the clearance should be no more than .039 in.|||WOW!!!!, I Hate people like This, They Dont Know A THING! FOR ONE THING, Seadoo Came out with the GTX in 1993, trust me i know I HAVE ONE, 2 IT IS CALL A REVERSE FLAP!!!!!! LEARN MORE ABOUT THE THINGS YOU BOUGHT!!!!!! EWA!!!!!!!!!!!!
