Do you need licence in Ontario to drive a seadoo?

Ok so we are currently buying a seadoo and I was wondering if I need a Ontario boating licence to ride it ( if it matters it's a privite water front and yes I'm fourteen so I can get the licence)Do you need licence in Ontario to drive a seadoo?
Yes you need a boaters operator's card, but there are also age restrictions regarding your boaters operators card in canada. sorry but it looks like you won't be able to operate a PWC until you turn 16 years old.

Who must carry proof of competency?

鈻燛veryone operating a boat with a motor (including electric)

Age restrictions:

鈻燨perators under 16 cannot operate personal watercraft (PWC).

鈻燨perators under 12 are restricted to 10 hp (7.5kw) unless supervised by someone 16+.

鈻燨perators 12-16 years old are restricted to 40 hp (30kw) unless supervised by someone 16+.

Yes you do... now in Canada, you need a license for just about everything.

As of September 15, 2009 all boaters are required to have the Pleasure Craft Operator Card in order to operate any powered watercraft. There is no grandfather clause or age exemption 鈥?this law applies to all boaters. Powered watercraft includes watercraft.

However, you can not operate a PWC until you are 16.
