The engine was just rebuilt and impellar cleaned up last summer and not used since. The engine runs very well for a 1997. Does it have the power to tow a wakeboarder? And a tube for that matter?Can a 1996 Seadoo GTI pull a wakeboarder?
It probably has enough power, but it's illegal. The law requires any vessel towing a skier/wakeboarder/tuber to have a minimum of 3 seats- one for the dreiver, one for the watchperson, and one for the boarder/tuber.Can a 1996 Seadoo GTI pull a wakeboarder?
Not a chance! The crappy hull design of older seadoos made the thing slide in the corners. Add a lot of towed weight, and it will be almost impossible to steer.
