I bought a 96 seadoo sp and the guy said it ran out of oil what could be wrong any ideas?

Well if it was run for an extended period of time after the oiler stopped working or ran out of oil the engine may be shot. If nothing else your best bet right now is to add the correct mixture of two cycle oil right into the gas and see if you can get it started again. If it's just the oiler that failed you can probably get away with always mixing the correct gas oil mixture externally and run the ski that way.
