Why does the throttle on our 1997 seadoo challenger at times not go past quarter throttle?

You may have a kink in the throttle cable. The cable could be sticking and needs to be removed greased and put back. The trottle cable may need to be adjusted properly.. Do you get it . The trouble is most likely in the throttle cable. If it checks out fine check the conections at the shifter box, and the complete shifter and trottle control box at the helm.. Good luck. Why does the throttle on our 1997 seadoo challenger at times not go past quarter throttle?
They were famous for bent linkages under the shift assembly. But also, does the boat rev up but not go anywhere? Seems to me like there is something in the way of the throttle linkage or lever.
