My 97 SeaDoo GSI seems to cut off as soon as I reach max RPM's. It throttles up, then drops off. Any advice?

I replaced the plugs and cleaned the fuel filter. It has about 2 gallons of old fuel, but I burned em out. Its got 70 hours on it, and starts right up and is in good shape. Whats the problem? Itll go from 6400 rpms to 3400, then back to 6400, then drop to 3400 so forth and so on.My 97 SeaDoo GSI seems to cut off as soon as I reach max RPM's. It throttles up, then drops off. Any advice?
see if the symptoms are the same with the fuel valve on reserve, if they are, clean the fuel filter in the carburetor, if it runs ok on reserve then the valve is fouled/cloged
