you might believe the seller when he says "you don't need a title, I'll give you a bill of sale" only to find out that now you can't register your PWC, and it takes an act of congress to get a replacement title.
you might get turned down for the loan if your credit isn't good enough. (should have gone to free credit report dot com....which, ironically, isn't free)
you might buy a rig that exceeds the maximum towing weight of your toyota prius, and end up having to buy a pickup truck that you hadn't planned on, thus losing your eco-feminist girl friend.
