How old do you have to be to be a passenger on a Seadoo?

Is there a minimum age to be a passenger on a Seadoo? (Personal watercraft) I can find the limits online for having to have a life jacket, or other limits about being old enough to operate. But is there a limit on how old you have to be to be a passenger?|||As far as I know, at least in the state of MD and VA their is no age limits on passengers, but any body that rides a PWC must have a life jacket. Also anybody born after 1972 is required to take a boater safety course before operating a PWC in the state of Md and Va.|||It may depend on your state laws, but riders need to have a life jacket - I have not seen an age limit as the adult is taking the liability. If you plan to rent the Seadoo you may find that the rental agency has their own limits because of insurance restrictions.|||There is no age limit for passenger, however there may be an age limit on operator to carry a passenger.|||well first off wveryone on the pwc needs a life vest. everyone who wants to ride thw pwc needs to take the boat cours and get a licens. you have to be 16 or over to operate a jetski by yourself. Any one under 16 as of 2005 or 6 cant drive one even with somone over 18. But also check your laws, theses are the laws i know of.
