to access the coils you will first need to remove the dipstick and plastic head cover. unplug the coils, remove them, remove plugs, an easy waw to install them is to take a 3 in. piece of 5/16 " fuel hose and slip it 1" over an 8" piece of 3/8" wooden dowel. slide plugs into open end of hose. install by hand, and tighten with.|||Those are "COPS" (coil over plugs) and yes you have to remove them to have access to the spark plugs.|||two easy steps
1. take out old plug
2. put in new plug
